Frequently Asked Questions

What will the beach ceremony be like?

The ceremony itself will be on the beach, so please plan for sand and sun! We will have a water station available for everyone, but recommend everyone bring sunscreen or equivalent.

The Sunset Beach Pavilion area on site includes: vending area, restrooms, showers, playground, beach wheelchair, handicap accessible facility, shaded open-air picnic area.

Tell me more about the rehearsal dinner.

Doc Ford's restaurant is a casual destination for seafood with Caribbean & South American flavors plus rum & entertainment. The vibes will be relaxed and non-formal, with a menu that has a little bit of something for everyone. We recommend beach casual attire!

What can I expect for the sunset cruise?

It's on a 3-story, air-conditioned charter ship that we will be sharing with other parties. The other groups will be attending their own events, allowing us to focus on ours.

Food will be provided along with complimentary drinks and dessert, and will last a total of 2 hours.

We'll kick it off with some initial first dances, then the DJ will be playing jams throughout the trip while we dine, dance and cruise the waves!

All you've gotta do is:

  1. Show up to "Calypso Breeze" at John's Pass in Treasure Island at the scheduled boarding time of 7:30PM. If driving, please use the on-site parking garage.
  2. Go to the ticket booth.
  3. Tell them you're with Hess-Soma party.
  4. The boat manager will give you a pre-printed boarding pass and direct you how to board the boat.
  5. We will have an open seating arrangement in our section of tables. If any questions, please find us or a boat manager.
